The admission process for Swami Vivekananda University is quite easy to follow and can be done in a limited amount of time. All the admission details regarding each course are listed below, along with their process.

• Walk-in inquiries: Candidate who wants to seek admission to Swami Vivekananda University can go through the walk-in and enquire about the whole admission process. The counsellors present on the campus will explain in detail the whole admission process and what the pre-requisite is for a particular stream that the candidate is interested in. The candidate can also learn about the fee structure as well through this process from the counsellor.

• Online Application: The candidate has to go to the university's official website and click on Apply option. The candidate will have to fill out the form to ask basic questions and contact information. The University team would get back to the candidate within a span of 2 to 3 days via phone or e-mail to discuss further steps for the application.

• Through Entrance Exams (CET, WBJEE): Students who wish to get into any professional stream need to clear the entrance exam scheduled by the state or at the national level. Once the candidate clears the exam and if the college has met the cut-off marks, the candidate can go ahead with the admission process either online or offline.

• International Admissions: Students from different nationalities need to complete 10+2 years of schooling and need at least 35% aggregate. Once the student is accepted into the University, they need to apply for a student VISA and get it approved. Swami Vivekananda University will grant any paperwork needed for the VISA process. It has been stated that the students must reach campus at least 1 to 2 days before their commencement of classes as a few paperwork needs to be completed.
