Candidates who wish to participate in the Andhra Polytechnic admission process must fill out an application form, which may be completed either online or offline. Before submitting an application for any of the programmes, candidates must first ensure whether or not they meet the eligibility criteria listed on the official website of the college. The expected Andhra Polytechnic Kakinada cutoff for Diploma in Computer Science Engineering is between 6195 to 6199. Candidates who wish to get admission to the ECE programme must obtain an AP POLYCET rank between 3380 to 3385. The expected cutoff for mechanical and civil engineering is between 2010 - 2015 and 4165 - 4169 respectively. 

As per category wise cutoff, the expected rank range for the general boys category is 3380 - 3385. For SC boys and ST boys, the expected cutoff is 23195 - 23199 and 28880 - 28885. Meanwhile, the expected rank range for general girls, ST girls, and SC girls are 5945 - 5949, 39000 - 39005, and 58170 - 58175 respectively.
