Kurukshetra University admissions are offered to a total of 13 courses at certificate, diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels. Admission to top courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, B.Pharma, BA LLB, B.Ed, and M.Ed is based on candidates’ past academic record and performance in applicable entrance exams. JEE Main and GATE scores are accepted for KUK University admission to BTech and MTech courses, respectively. CAT scores are accepted for admission to the MBA course. Admission to many other certificate, diploma, UG and PG courses at KUK is offered on the basis of merit and KUK Entrance Exam. The admission criteria for PG courses include a 3 or 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD).

If you are seeking KUK admissions to a course through an entrance exam, you must first apply for it, appear for it, and then meet the required cutoff. KUK will then invite you to participate in the counselling which includes a group discussion and personal interview (depending on the course). Candidates with good academic standing, impressive entrance exam scores, and excellent performance in the GD-PI rounds are selected for admission. On the other hand, when applying for admission to courses without entrance exams, you simply need to fill out the online application form, wait for your application to get shortlisted, and then report to the university to complete the admission formalities. KUK admission is also provided in various online and distance learning courses for individuals who lack access to education due to constraints or those who want to enhance their qualifications and skills. 

To make sure every student irrespective of their background can pursue higher education, KUK scholarships are provided to students. The university offers scholarships to deserving and meritorious students. KUK scholarships are provided based on certain criteria that need to be fulfilled by the student to receive the scholarship benefits. It must be noted that Kurukshetra University offers scholarships to a limited number of students and for a limited period of time. KUK cutoff 2024 for CSE is expected to be 72021-72021 for the General category, while the closing ranks for ECE may be 122055-122065 for General. General BTech Mechanical Engineering aspirants at Kurukshetra University may expect the cutoff rank to be 185580-185590. KUK JEE Main cutoff 2024 for Instrumentation Engineering may stay within 222584-222594 for the General category.
