A. Maha Yogi Shri Guru Gorakshnath International Fellowship

The university has an International Cell in place which offers this international fellowship. The fellowship aims at globalising education and inviting international candidates for application. The fellowships provided under this category provide full support to international students in aspects of accommodation, settlement, and, change of environment. All the programmes of study are open to international students. 

International Research Students will be awarded 2 fellowships worth Rs 1,00,000 per annum for three years. 

International UG/PG Students will be awarded 10 fellowships worth Rs 80,000 per year. 

For the Travel and stay of Indian Research Students to work for a short duration abroad will be allotted 5 fellowships with:

 (a) Travel Grant at actual up to a maximum of Rs.1,00,000

(b) Sustenance fund of $1000 per month for a maximum duration of six months. 

(c) Contingency of $1000 for 3 month stay and $2000 for a full 6-month stay.

 B. Maha Yogi Shri Guru Gorakshnath Fellowship for Super Hundred Sportspersons

This DDU Gorakhpur University scholarship offered as a fellowship provides free meals, free hostel accommodations, free education and free coaching to the selected sportspersons/students who are admitted to the following programs:

BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BCA/ B.Agri/BBA/BA LLB

The number of seats reserved for this fellowship will be 100 out of which 20% of seats will be reserved for female candidates. The eligibility criteria for this fellowship will vary as per the course opted at DDU Gorakhpur, but the students must have a valid National Level sports participation certificate in a tournament that is duly recognized by one of the following, Sports Federation/ Indian Olympic Association/ State or Central Government. The games included under this fellowship include the following:

Athletics, Football, Judo, Taekwondo, Archery, Hockey, Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Tennis, Cricket, and Wrestling
