GMR Institute of Technology fees range from Rs 45000 to Rs 303000 per year, depending on the degree level, duration and specialization of the course. The college offers 17 courses at PG and UG programmes. Furthermore, GMR Institute of Technology offers 10 courses in B.Tech at the UG level. At the PG level, the students can choose a wide range of specializations - 7 courses in M.Tech. Admission to GMR Institute of Technology courses are open for the academic year 2024-25. For admission the college conducts AP PGECET. In addition to this, scores of AP ECET, GATE, AP EAMCET are accepted by GMR Institute of Technology.

The total seats available as per the approved intake are grouped into two categories viz. category A and Category B with a ratio of 70:30 as per the state government guidelines vide G.O No.52 The admissions for category A and B seats shall be as per the guidelines of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) in consonance with government reservation policy.

• Under Category A: 70% of the seats are filled through GATE/PGCET counselling

• Under Category B: 30% seats are filled based on merit basis as per the guidelines of APSCHE
