Arunachal State Legislature established Arunodaya University (AU) through an act passed in 2014. UGC has certified the University as an authority to award certifications, degrees, and diplomas. The university values innovation; however, it respects tradition. Therefore, its education blends classroom education with industrial elements. 
Arunodaya University offers bachelor's, Master's, Diploma, PG diplomas, and research degrees. These degrees can be in Science, Social Science, Arts, Commerce, Management, Law, and Engineering. Apart from these, AU also offers six-month certification courses in Yoga, Multimedia, Animation, Firemen, Mobile Repair, Computer Hardware & Maintenance.
