KIIT admission to medical courses is through NEET. NTA has published the NEET UG result 2024.

Admissions at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is an annual process where aspirants can take admission to the desired course. To get admission, every candidate should fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the university and go through the university's selection process. To be admitted, a candidate must pass the entrance examinations as per the desired course. Several documents need to be presented to the admissions offices to verify and secure the seat for the desired course.

•  University of KIIT Scholarship awards will be made in the form of a tuition fee discount.
•  All Scholarship applications will be considered by the Founder of the University
•  Scholarships will only be awarded for the first year of a programme
•  A student may not receive more than one scholarship

NEET UG 2024 result is now out on exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. After the NEET result the counselling will begin. KIIT cutoff 2024 will be released by the NTA at the time of NEET 2024 counselling. The counselling for the exam will begin in the month of July to August 2024. However, as per previous years’ analysis, the expected cutoff for the BDS open general category in NEET for Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is around 91610 - 1004070. While NTA will prescribe the standard NEET cutoff, the NEET 2024 cutoff rank will be decided by the Dental Council of India after the NEET counselling is over. For Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS), the expected KIIT cutoff is 266620 - 1195610 for the open SC category. The cutoff will also vary depending on categories, programme seats, etc. Candidates should expect the KIIT cutoff for BDS to be around 201040 - 1193730 for the open OBC category.

Kalinga Institute of industrial technology has a nice and green campus located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. KIIT is spread over 7.5 million sq.ft. built up area. The college doesn't want to bound the students with just academic studies and lectures as they keep organising KIIT’s orientation program which includes workshops, study groups and social activities. The atmosphere of the college allows the students to get socialise and actively take part in various events organised by the institute.

Kalinga Institute of industrial technology has an adequate number of classrooms which are well furnished and well designed. The Leaning at the campus is not just bounded by the theoretical bookish knowledge and written notes The college follows the modern trend of transferring knowledge through visual and audio technique. The LCD projector and other sophisticated teaching aids are installed at all classrooms which allow students to adopt the concept quickly.

Kalinga Institute of industrial technology organise events and inter college meets at the college auditorium. The auditorium provides a seating capacity to 1600 students.

Other facilities available at the KIIT campus are Conference Halls (18 Nos.), 5 Star Guest House(42 Suits), Banquet Hall and Exhibition Ground (5 acres).  Apart from these, a total of 20 Open Air Theatres (OATs) are available at the campus with different capacities. The availability of this number of seminar halls and conference halls allows the organisation of meetings & conferences comfortably at the campus.

Kalinga Institute of industrial technology has facilitated students with 12 sports complexes sprawl over an area of 29 acres. The ground of the college is a regular venue for Ranji matches for the day and even day/night cricket matches.  The campus of KIIT Bhubneshwar has swimming pools and indoor stadiums constructed at the campus. KIIT’s Central Indoor Stadium(Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium) has been organising indoor sports events at the campus including Chess, Carom, Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball e.t.c. Besides these sports facilities, a gym is constructed at the college campus.

All hostels of KIIT provide a separate residential facility for boys and girls. Hostel buildings have round the clock Internet and Intranet Facility, 24-hour Reading Room Facility, other facilities for all types of indoor and outdoor games. Hostel mess serves good quality food to the students. Some other facilities which provide a comfortable environment for the students are hospital, bank,  convention centre, post office, library, railway ticket reservation centre e.t.c.
