Techno India University admissions are based on national or state-level entrance exams and for a few courses, it is based on a merit list. Techno India University BTech admission is based on WBJEE 2024 counselling. The WBJEEB is expected to tentatively begin the WBJEE 2024 counselling process in July 2024. Candidates who have obtained qualifying scores in the exam will be eligible to appear for the counselling process with multiple rounds of seat allotment. Through WBJEE 2024 seat allotment, candidates will be allocated seats in respective courses based on their ranks. Techno India University admission to nursing, paramedical, and allied sciences courses is based on the JENPAS UG exam. For M.Tech admission, candidates must have a valid GATE score. The scores of CAT/MAT are considered for MBA admission, and WBJECA scores for MCA admission.

Techno India University cutoff will be released by WBJEEB at the time of WBJEE counselling which is expected to begin in July 2024. Candidates who are interested in Techno India University admission must be aware of the course wise cutoff. As per previous years cutoff analysis, the expected cutoff for WBJEE 2024 can be around 14616 - 14626 for CSE, 15950 - 15960 for Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) and 30236 - 30246 for Computer Science & Business Systems. For Electrical Engineering the Techno India University BTech cutoff 2024 is expected to be around 52008 - 52018. The ECE cutoff is expected to be 23289 - 23299. The cut off for Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Techno India University is expected to be 93220 - 93230 and 90152 - 90162, respectively.
