JIS University Kolkata Admission 2024 is done through WBJEE 2024 counselling. The WBJEEB is expected to begin the WBJEE 2024 counseling process in July 2024, tentatively. Candidates who have obtained qualifying scores in the exam will be eligible to appear for the counseling process which will have multiple rounds of seat allotment. Through WBJEE 2024 seat allotment, candidates will be allocated seats into respective courses based on their ranks.

Overview of the JIS University Merit Scholarship

JIS University, under its SJSMS scheme offers scholarship to meritorious and financially weak students of the society. The scholarship amount, extending up to 100% on tuition fees of the total course fees, is awarded on the basis of the assessment of prospective candidates by SJSMS Committee. The University awards its scholarship to the students who wish to pursue their studies in various courses at JIS University.

Eligibility for Scholarship:

JIS University offers scholarship (SJSMS) to the candidates fulfilling any criterion listed below:

• Entrance Examination: The candidate should have to score good percentile in the admission entrance examination at JIS University (JISUEE).
• Previous Qualification: The Candidate with consistent performance in all previous qualifying examinations.
• Other Consideration:
  • a) If the candidate’s parents have worked in the Indian Defense Services at any point of time.
  • b) If the candidate is a single girl child.
  • c) If the candidate is a child of Single mother.
  • d) If the candidate is a child of JIS Group Employee.
  • e) If the candidate is from an orphanage NGO.
  • f) If the candidate represents district or state or national level in any sports he/she will be eligible to get scholarship.

JIS University Kolkata Cutoff 2024 - Expected

JIS University Kolkata cutoff 2024 via WBJEE is yet to be released for B.Pharm and B.Tech courses. The cutoff is expected to be released in July-August 2024 at the time of WBJEE 2024 counselling. After each round of seat allotment, the WBJEEB authorities will determine the WBJEE cutoff based on the candidate's performance and other relevant variables such as number of test takers, difficulty level of the test, pass rate, etc for admission to JIS University. The expected cutoff for B.Pharm is 54592 - 54602 in 2024. JIS University Kolkata cutoff for CSE is expected to be around 7748 - 177491 in 2024 for the Open category, All India Quota.
