To be admitted to the Department of Optoelectronics at the University of Kerala, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Degree

  You must have an M.Sc. degree with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Applied Physics, Electronic Science, or Electronics.

• Qualifying examination

  SC/ST candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.  

The admission process for the M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication (Optoelectronics and Optical Communication) program at the University of Kerala is as follows:

1. Register and apply online or offline.
2. Undergo counseling based on your GATE exam score.  

The university also reserves seats for candidates from SC/ST/SEBC/EWS.
