The process for Tezpur University admission is completely online. BTech admission to this university will begin with JoSAA registration from June 10, 2024. • AICTE’s Doctoral Fellowship - To get this scholarship, the student must have qualified GATE/ GMAT/ CEED exams. Moreover, they must be attending PhD in Engineering and Technology/ Management/ Design. The scholarship amount for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is Rs 37,000 per month, and the Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) is Rs 42,000 per month. They will also get a contingency grant of Rs 15,000 per year.
• PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship - The postgraduate Indira Gandhi scholarship is offered to students who are in non-professional courses. To be eligible for this TU Tezpur scholarship, candidates must be a single girl child. Students will get Rs 2000 per month for two years under this scholarship.
• Ishan Uday Scholarship - Students from the northeastern states of India can claim this scholarship. A total of 10,000 scholarships are offered under this scheme. The annual income of the student’s parents should not exceed Rs 4,50,000 per annum to be eligible for this scholarship. Under this Tezpur University scholarship, students will get Rs 5400 per month for general degree courses and Rs 7800 per month if they choose any technical, paramedical, or professional courses.
