University of Engineering & Management Kolkata is a well-known and established brand in Kolkata. It was founded in 2014 by the IEM Group of institutions and is built up at 46 acres of land.

To get admission into their dream course, the aspirants have to meet the minimum UEM Kolkata cutoff scores for various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programmes. The UEM Kolkata cutoff marks will vary course wise and it will be based on the performance of the candidates in various entrance exams and qualifying exams. Library: The UEM Kolkata library is a place where the students and the faculty members quench their thirst for knowledge. The books and journals present in the library are an important source of knowledge that is accessible 24*365. The digital library section is the storage unit of all the digital resources in the form of e-books, e-journals, DEL NET Library, IEEE Digital Library and J-Gate e-journal Library. Multimedia learning aids and computers are provided in sufficient numbers for student use. The digital data is secured by a username and password which is only accessible for the students and staff of UEM Kolkata. The students can access their desired digital resources from campus, hostel and home. To keep the students updated with day to day happenings, the UEM Kolkata campus subscribes to an adequate number of daily newspapers.

Laboratories: The laboratories of UEM Kolkata are well equipped where the students carry out various experiments in a controlled environment. The laboratories are situated across the 3 University buildings. The old building consists of those laboratories that are dedicated to 1st-year students. Rest of them are situated in the UEM Kolkata new buildings.
