NIT Sikkim process of admission to BTech will start with JoSAA registration which will begin from June 10, 2024 onwards. For BTech admission at this institute, students need a valid JEE Main scorecard. The National Institute of Technology Sikkim, also known as NIT Sikkim or NIT SKM, is situated in the city of Ravangla, Sikkim, India. NIT Sikkim admission 2024 for BTech is based on JEE Main. The admission process for BTech in 2024 will begin with JoSAA registration from June 10 onwards.
The admission process of NIT Sikkim includes entrance exam, cutoff and then the final selection process. The final selection process can involve interviews/GDs or anything else as per authorities' choice and courses. The admission process begins with filling an application form from either the official portal of NIT Sikkim or the exam that the candidate is applying for. Candidates must also pay their registration fee. It is important to use a valid email id during registration as this email id is used in future for correspondence concerning the exam or admission.

NIT Sikkim cutoff JEE Main 2024 has been released on July 17, 2024. As per the official data, NIT Sikkim cutoff 2024 for general category is 118100 as opening rank and 305662 as closing rank. Moreover, NIT Sikkim CSE cutoff for general is 143919 as closing rank and 63611 for SC as closing rank.
NIT Sikkim is located in Ravangla, South Sikkim. NIT Sikkim provides its students with great infrastructure facility including sufficient classrooms, auditoriums, computer labs, central library as well as hostels and gymnasium. It has highly equipped and advanced computer labs, big and highly ventilated group discussion rooms, big interview rooms, 24*7 Wifi and electricity backup, rooms with Lan/Wi-Fi connectivity and audio-visual aids such as laptops and projectors.
Despite it being a temporary campus, the institute has residential facilities for all of its students. NIT Sikkim has ten boys’ hostel out of which six are within the campus while the rest four are outside. First-year girls are kept in a separate hostel from seniors to avoid ragging. The breath-taking view of snowy Himalayan peaks, Mt. Narshinga and Mt. Kanchenjunga can be seen from these hostels. For indoor sports, the institute provides facilities for table tennis, has a badminton court, carom board and chessboards. For outdoor sports, NIT Sikkim has well-maintained fields where students can play football, volleyball, kho-kho, and cricket. The college provides 24*7 medical facility to its students.
