Is there anything new at Global OP Jindal University? 

• Admission has begun at OP Jindal Global University for all UG and PG programmes including B.tech, MBA, BBA, etc. for the 2024 academic year. As soon as all of the available places in the courses have been filled, the application will be closed. 
• The LSAT registration period is now open. The LSAT 2024 Exam will be given on January 22, 2023, and the deadline for applications is January 11, 2023.

Applicants who want to enrol in the MBA programme at OP Jindal Global University should verify the crucial dates below. Candidates may be accepted to OP Jindal Global University for the academic year 2024–2024 depending on their CAT scores. The government published the IIM CAT results online on December 21. The exam's official website, iimcat.ac.in, is where students may see the results. On October 27, 2022, the CAT entrance card became available before this. On the official website, students may find a link to download their entrance cards. On August 3, 2022, registration for the CAT 2022 test opened. The CAT 2022 application period ended on September 21, 2022. Candidates who want to be admitted into the OP Jindal Global University Delhi MBA programme must take the CAT exam, which will be conducted on November 27, 2022.

Scholarships for International Students:

JGU aims to build human capital of fellow developing countries through higher education because it believes that education is a source of empowerment. To further this aim, the University has instituted two scholarship programmes – Jindal Afghanistan Scholarship and Empowerment Programme (JASEP) and the Jindal Africa Scholarships. 

Jindal Afghanistan Scholarship and Empowerment Programme (JASEP):

In an effort to strengthen people-to-people linkages between India and Afghanistan, JGU offers 100 percent scholarship for five girls and 50 percent scholarship for all students from Afghanistan. The purpose of the scholarship programme is to encourage bright Afghan students who would otherwise be unable to access quality higher education.

Jindal-Africa Scholarship Programme:

JGU instituted the Jindal-Africa Scholarship Programme as part of its commitment towards fostering global cooperation and development, with a special focus on Africa. This scholarship programme is intended to build human capital of fellow developing countries through higher education. It aims to build capacities of young Africans by bringing them to the JGU campus in India and training them in key issue areas relevant to the national priorities of their respective countries. The ultimate goal of this programme is to strengthen people-to-people linkages between India and Africa.

OP Jindal Global University Campus Facilities & Infrastructure

Stephane Paumier, a famous and award-winning architect, created the  OP Jindal Global University (JGU) Campus. In addition to state-of-the-art classrooms, the fully air-conditioned campus with student and staff housing has multimedia-enabled auditoriums and theatres. The Campus is monitored, and CCTV cameras have been placed to protect the safety of all inhabitants. The university has hired Sodexo, a French multinational corporation, to provide food services and facilities management on campus.

Library

The Library has around 48000 print volumes and a variety of electronic resources. Books, monographs, research papers, legal reports, and back volumes of magazines are among the items in the print collection. Aside from professional reading, the library has a strong selection of pleasure reading and soft skills development materials. The collection includes all topics connected to the University's academic and research programs. The library's print materials are organized into two categories: general and reference.

Cafeteria

The "Biswamil Bistro" at the O.P. Jindal Global University is a world-class food court reflecting global ambitions and Indian traditions. Subway, Burger Point, 34 Chowringhee Lane, Street Food by Punjab Grill, Bercos, Moti Mahal, Domino's Pizza, Breakfast Round the Clock BRC, and Keventers are among the brands represented in this JGU food court. For the advantage of JGU students, faculty, staff, and visitors, a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal alternatives are offered. Tuck Shops such as Coffee Café Day, Juice N More, and Nescafe are also located on campus.

Hostel

Both Boys Hostel and Girls Hostel is available at University. A French architect created the University's student hall of residence, which comprises many blocks of buildings. There are halls, open areas, and communal rooms within each block. Male and female pupils have their blocks. According to international standards, students are housed in these buildings, and the rooms are tastefully decorated. In these Halls, hygiene is very crucial. The campus also has leisure amenities, such as a gymnasium and various indoor and outdoor activities. Lawns, plants, and trees abound in the immediate vicinity.
