University of Hyderabad was established on October 2, 1974, by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 39 of 1974) in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, and is recognized by the University Grants Commission. As per NIRF Ranking 2023, the University of Hyderabad bagged 10th rank in the university category. The University of Hyderabad courses include integrated M.Sc., integrated MA, MFA, MCA, M.Tech, and PhD to name a few. Admissions for the integrated PG programs are done based on CUET UG. University of Hyderabad admissions to MCA are done through NIMCET, M.Tech admissions are done through GATE, MBA admissions are done through CAT, and for the rest of the PG courses, admissions are done based on CUET PG.

University of Hyderabad Admissions are offered in diverse fields such as medical sciences, engineering sciences, technology, humanities, social sciences, performing arts, fine arts, communication, and management studies. The university provides numerous courses for the students to choose from including postgraduate, 5-year integrated master’s degree courses, and research studies. The UOH admissions for these are given based on entrance exams. After the entrance exam, students must go through further procedures such as counselling and document verification according to the schedule followed by the University.
