Mizoram University BTech admission starts with JoSAA counselling which will start from June 10, 2024. JEE Main 2024 round two results and NTA score for paper one were released on April 24, 2024, by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students can download their scorecard from the NTA website. JoSAA will release the Mizoram University cutoff 2024 in the second week of June 2024. A total of 56 students scored 100 NTA score in JEE Main 2024 session two exam.

The Mizoram University Aizawl was established in 2001. It is a public university for higher education. It is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and AICTE. Mizoram University holds ‘A’ NAAC accreditation and affiliation from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university was ranked 78th by the NIRF rankings in 2022. Mizoram University has nine schools and 41 departments that offer a range of general and professional courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Mizoram University courses are offered in engineering, economics, management, information services, education, mass communication, humanities, life sciences, fine arts, architecture, earth sciences, natural resource management, and medical and paramedical sciences. Mizoram University admission to BTech will commence with JoSAA registration 2024 from June 10, 2024. JEE Main 2024 session two result along with NTA score was released on April 24.

It offers more than 50 undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programmes in Engineering, Management, Humanities, Medical, Life Sciences, Architecture, Economics, information sciences, education, mass communication, earth sciences, natural resources management, fine arts, and paramedical sciences. MZU application is available in both online/offline modes. MZU Admission to the university is either entrance based or merit-based. It accepts the scores of various national/state-level entrance exams for courses like B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, and MBA. It also conducts a university-level entrance examination (MZU-EEE) for admission if students have not appeared for the entrance exam. For admission to Ph.D, candidates must clear the entrance exam and interview conducted by the university.

The Mizoram university provides Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and online bachelor's and master's degrees, certificates, diplomas, and executive programmes. The university also provides scholarships and fellowships to the students based on merit, such as category/ community group.

Mizoram University cutoff JEE Main for round 5 has been released by JoSAA on July 17, 2024. According to the round 5 data, Mizoram University cutoff for general category is 1696 (OR) and 1863 (CR). It is an eco-friendly University and is one of the first Universities in the country to run effectively on Solar Power System. The Academic Buildings, Hostels, Administrative Blocks and the streetlights within the Campus are all supported by the Solar photo voltaic power plant for electricity. The University provides facilities for Disabled and Visually Challenged students and staff. All buildings in the University Campus have ramps for wheelchairs; disabled-friendly washrooms are also available in the hostels.
