NIT Calicut admission 2024 will begin for B.Tech programmes from June 10, 2024. For BTech admission, applicants need to qualify for JEE Main. The result of JEE Main 2024 Session 2 was announced on April 24. Candidates who will qualify for JEE Main will be eligible for JoSAA counselling. Registrations for the counselling process will tentatively begin on June 10, 2024.   

For NIT Calicut admission in Master of Business Administration (MBA), candidates need to qualify for CAT. NIT Calicut M.Tech admissions at the institute are done on the basis of GATE scores. The NIT Calicut admission process is managed by the institute level UG and PG admission committees. The admission to NIT Calicut PhD courses is on the basis of PhD scores once they qualify GATE/ NET/ JEST/ NBHM.

• The day scholar will get financial assistance of Rs25,000  per annum through NITC merit-cum-means scholarship whereas a hostelier will get Rs 30,000 per annum.

NIT Calicut cutoff 2024 has been released by JoSAA for Round 5 on the official website. According to the official data for HS Quota, the cutoff for the General category ranges from 68 (Opening Rank) to 41705 (Closing Rank). For the OBC category, NIT Calicut cutoff is between 78 and 14647. For the SC category, the cutoff ranges from 13 to 18762.
